BILD Central Alberta (Building Industry and Land Development Association – Central Alberta) supports the people and businesses shaping the region’s residential communities. Established in 1956, the association represents home building, land development, and renovation across Central Alberta.
BILD connects members through industry networking, education, knowledge sharing, and advocacy. Membership also includes affiliation with BILD Alberta and the Canadian Home Builders’ Association, connecting local businesses with provincial and national industry representation.

Professional Bio
Chris Windrim is the Executive Director of BILD Central Alberta, where his work focuses on connecting, educating, and advocating for the residential construction industry. A lifelong Red Deer resident, Chris brings a strong interest in business development, community relationships, and collaboration to his role.
Before joining BILD, Chris served as Membership and Community Relations Manager at the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce. He studied business at the Donald School of Business and has contributed to community organizations including Tourism Red Deer and CentreFest. His community involvement was recognized with the City of Red Deer’s Mayor’s Recognition Award for Community Builder in 2019, and he was named among Central Alberta’s 40 Under 40 honourees in 2024.
